Unsure of what he wanted to do, he consulted with those who knew him best; family, friends and former golf club members. Upon talking with them, it was evident he should go into real estate. Knowing the level of commitment required and the ability to work hard at something that you enjoy everyday as he did in professional golf, allowed him to easily move into the real estate profession. | |
| Why real estate? Pete has always
been one to enjoy the company of other people and doing what he can to help
others. Coupled with all the people he met at various plantations he worked
in his prior career, and his ‘inside knowledge’ of these plantations, made
real estate a perfect fit. For years people would say “You know everyone in
the area and you get along with everybody, why don’t you go into real
estate?”. The opportunity of helping a family, couple or individual find
that ‘perfect home’ has always been Pete’s motivation in real estate. Pete
feels real estate is about establishing relationships with new clients and
growing relationships with existing clients. Why choose Pete? It took Pete many years to hone his skills at golf before he could play professionally. While perfecting his game he worked at many of the Low Country’s finest plantations as a golf professional. During these tenures he was able to develop long lasting relationships with many of the residents in these communities and maintains those relationships to this day. Because of this, Pete has intimate knowledge, of the state of affairs, in various communities, on a regular basis. This can and has proven extremely valuable for clients in the past and will continue to be valuable for clients in the future. It takes an exceptional amount of work and dedication to reach the top one half of a percent of your professional in the world. Pete achieved this level in his first profession, as a professional golfer. He understands the sacrifice and hard work it takes to reach such a high level and is more than happy to put that work to use for his clients.
